We use no analytics, session-recording or tracking tools of our own, no web fonts or other assets from third-party servers, and no ads or advertising cookies inside the editor at /editor. Nothing you write, save or export is used to target advertising.

Your consent

Advertising cookies are only used on pages that carry ads: the home page, blog, about and policy pages. A banner asks about them on your first visit. You can accept, reject everything that is not strictly necessary, or choose by category. Rejecting takes one click, exactly like accepting.

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Québec, and anywhere we cannot tell where you are, the advertising script is not loaded at all, so no advertising cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google for advertising, until you agree.
  • Everywhere else, advertising cookies are used unless you turn them off, and the banner is your notice and opt-out.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out: advertising cookies stay off and ads are not personalised, whatever else is chosen.

Saying no never costs you access to the site. Strictly necessary cookies are not covered by consent because the service cannot work without them. Your choice is kept for six months. Change or withdraw it at any time:

The same control is in the footer of every page, as “Cookie settings” and “Your privacy choices”. If your visit is handled by Google’s own certified consent message instead, our banner steps aside so you are not asked twice, and you can reopen that message through its “Privacy & cookie settings” link.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers can block third-party cookies without affecting the builder. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop sign-in from working.
